Salary – £20,000 to £23,000 – Permanent 

Remote working option for up to 2 days per week when we return to the office later in the year.

Job Description

TopCashback is looking for a budding all-rounder to join our team for a unique role covering both Copywriting and assisting the SEO team with research and more technical projects. In the role you will gain first-hand experience of producing compelling content for our website, while developing your skills in terms of on-page SEO, content management systems and the affiliate marketing industry.

The role will be split between Copywriting and assisting the SEO team with both research and a variety of more technical tasks and project creation.

On the job training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to produce effective content which will attract visitors from search engines and convert those into new members for our website.

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively integrate SEO best practices within the entire content production process
• Content writing for our retailer pages, blog posts and other pages
• Topic / keyword research
• Assisting the SEO team with unique and highly varying projects
• Work with the team to identify ways to increase website traffic and move users through the web journey as easily as possible to convert visitors to leads and/or customers.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Should have relevant experience in prior journalism, copywriting or SEO – candidates will be required to provide examples of previous written work and will be provided with a copywriting task
• Should have a technical mindset and be comfortable with sorting through large volumes of data with Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-sufficient in content curation
• Strong team player with initiative, a positive attitude and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Should be detail-oriented and unafraid to go into detail where necessary

Desired Skills and Experience

• Ideally would have taken journalism (or similar) degrees, or courses on copywriting (or similar)
• Ideally have a firm understanding of SEO and On-Page optimization
• Ideally would have some basic knowledge of HTML
• Previous experience working with a CMS (Content Management System) is a plus
