The role
Due to our continued rapid growth and an ambitious international expansion program, a rare and truly exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our finance department in meeting the demands that this success creates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the department places the function in the best possible position to achieve this. We are seeking a qualified management/financial accountant to head up a finance function in our head office in Stafford. Reporting to the Finance Director you must be CIMA/ACCA/ICAW qualified with an expected 8+ years PQE. This candidate has a strong track record of process creation and implementation, priding themself on adapting to demanding environments and driving positive change. A proven leader, they have also accrued excellent systems knowledge with high proficiency in Excel and preferably SQL and experience with Sage.
The role will involve managing and developing the finance function and implementing new systems and processes to support the business with its short and long-term commercial strategy. Alongside this, you will be supporting the wider business including Product, Operations, BI and Partnerships teams to assess the commercial drivers of the business and offer process improvements.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with prior experience leading and developing a team. You must have proven experience implementing change. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both finance and non-finance professionals are the key to success in this role.
