Graphic/ UI Design Placement

Duration:             12 Month Placement- 37.5 Hours per Week- Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30

Reporting To:     Head of Design & UX

Location:             Stafford, Staffordshire/remotely according to Government guidance

Salary:                  £18,525

The Role

This role sits within our Design and UX department working with a small team of energetic and fun-loving professionals. The team is responsible for graphic design, user interface, user experience, and branding of TopCashback, working across multiple platforms and countries.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a career in design and would like to learn on the job. This is not a placement to make tea! You will work on real-life projects ranging from working on in-house marketing campaigns, user interfaces, digital design assets, and branding projects.

The Candidate

As long as you are friendly and know your way around Photoshop and are a creative individual, you’ll fit right in. You would work closely with our busy production team to help manage and maintain our websites for the UK, USA, China, Germany and India. This will involve helping carry out design, production of internal and external marketing material, including the design of some of our social media campaigns. You will get to work on big-name brands such as PizzaHut, Nike, ASOS, eBay, and Amazon just to name a few.

Required 

• A keen eye for detail
• Strong interest in design and typography
• Good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Enthusiasm for your work using initiative
• Passion for digital media/UI/UX developments
• Creativity
• Portfolio of design work examples

Desirable 

• An innovator who will actively pursue opportunities to develop new skills and extend expertise
• Be able to visualise your ideas and articulate them well
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team and to obtain co-operation and adapt to change
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
