Position:  Head of People Operations / Head of Human Resources

Shift Pattern/Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitve Depending on experience
Location: Stafford Office and up to 2 days remote working per week
All equipment provided for both office and remote set up (if required)

The Role

As a result of our business expanding we are looking for a senior, experienced, qualified HR professional to join our business and lead the existing People Operations Team and provide the leadership and expertise to our managers and senior leadership team. With over 300 colleagues across 4 offices and a mixture of hybrid and working from home arrangements, we are keen to attract candidates who have an excellent practical experience of dealing with the wide and diverse people issues that a dynamic and expanding business faces.

The role will report to the Director of Shared Services, and will assume line responsibility for the existing HR, Recruitment, L&D and Office Managers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody wanting to support a business develop it’s People Operations strategy, which will form an essential part of the businesses longer plans which are currently being developed for growth in our core markets as well as an ever growing international presence.

Key Skills/Responsibilities 

• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) – we need somebody who can bring practical People Operations experience to our business having operated for several years at a senior level, with the associated professional knowledge that goes with this
• Leadership – both as part of a wider management team as well as line management of a team of 5
• Decision Making – as the senior leader within the People Operations team, and a key member of the wider senior management of our business
• Influencing – helping to embed and shape our Fair Play culture across the business and ensure our People Management Strategies are both understood and embraced by colleagues at every level of our business
• Experience / knowledge of HR within an international business is a nice to have but not essential
