The role 

We are looking for a passionate and creative Mandarin-speaking social media superstar as an influencer outreach executive. With minimum 1 year experience in influencer marketing, performance marketing, PR, or social media marketing – ideally within fashion, beauty or consumer sectors and preferably with a solid understanding and insight of Chinese consumer ‘cross-border shopping’.

This role is within our China department, and you would be joining a dedicated team tasked with growing and shaping the direction of TopCashback Chinese markets globally. The person will manage influencer marketing and social media communication at executive level.  It will involve planning marketing campaigns and delivering strong ROI through influencers/KOLs/KOCs and mainstream Chinese social media platforms.

Reporting to Marketing Communication Lead, the role will be based at TopCashback’s head office in Stafford (2 days WFH per week).

Key responsibilities:

• Acquire and activate new members by working closely with influencers/KOLs/KOCs within Chinese market, strive for strong ROI

• Complete end-to-end Influencer management (outreach, briefing, negotiating, closing, contracting and finance)

• Identify and develop a comprehensive of influencer list, build strong relationship with influencers and/or their agencies
• Deliver marketing communications with audience on Red, Weibo, Bilibili and other major Chinese social media channels
• Remain up to date with Chinese consumer behaviours and cross-border shopping news and trends
• Track and analyse performance data, create monthly report

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in influencer marketing or social media marketing
• Excellent hands-on skills in social media marketing such as Red(小红书), WeChat, Bilibili, YouTube, Weibo, and Facebook
• Resourceful of influencer lists and contacts
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
• A visually compelling storyteller with an ability to execute ideas that push boundaries
• Good knowledge of trendy beauty and fashion brands
• Strong copywriting skills for scripts and content
• Be able to learn quickly, a collaborative and respectful team player
• Excellent speaking and writing in both Mandarin and English
• Use Excel and PowerPoint well
