Job Title: Project Manager/Business Analyst/Business Process Analyst
Workstream: Operational Improvements & Business Critical
Reporting To: Head of Projects
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Salary: £25-£30K Per Annum, based on experience
This role is to work on a development workstream that focuses on reducing waste, reducing the chance of human error and, in turn, increasing the efficiency of our Operational Teams.
You will be supporting key Operational Teams around the business to help them analyse their current processes and identify potential areas for improvement or automation. You will then manage these changes through to a development team and co-ordinate the successful rollout of the changes to the end user.
This role would suit someone who has been working as a Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst and is ready to take on more responsibility, a more varied role, and/or has an interest in Project Management and wishes to expand their skillset.
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:
·Support the analysis of key operational processes.
·Suggest changes to senior management, using analytics to support your recommendations.
·Assess change requests for feasibility/viability, in conjunction with the technical team and the senior business stakeholders.
·Ensure any requests for change fit with the overall business outlook and are going to bring an added benefit once complete.
·Define and prioritise the backlog of change requests, based on the level of benefit you believe they will bring.
·Understand and communicate the operational impact of any changes, arranging further training for operational teams if required.
·Collate relevant information to put together task specifications.
·Actively co-ordinate the development and rollout of all agreed change and improvement requests.
·Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
·Ensure the development is completed accurately and in a timely manner, quickly removing any blockers that may arise.
·Co-ordinate change and improvement requests between both the Business Critical workstream and the Operational workstream, to ensure that there isn’t duplication of effort and the change requests are placed in the correct Backlog.

·Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst or Junior Project Manager.
·Experience of process mapping and analysis techniques.
·Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
·Knowledge of Agile, Lean & Scrum approaches to managing projects (desirable).
·Experience using Trello and Jira task management systems (desirable).
